Starting January 31, 2026, most partners will move to a prepaid, automated billing model on Baton. This change helps prevent payment delays and ensures your ability to purchase leads is not interrupted.
How it works
- You maintain a prepaid balance on your account (minimum $200, adjustable higher at any time)
- Lead purchases are deducted directly from your prepaid balance
- Referral credits are added back to your balance
- When your balance falls below x [specific amount], the card on file is automatically charged to restore it to your preset amount
What’s not changing
- You can still set weekly or monthly spend limits
- You’ll continue to receive a monthly activity summary (spend, referral credits, charges, adjustments)
- Lead quality, pricing, and referral flow remain the same
